THE BOOK OF NEHEMIAH
SELECTED LEADERSHIP STUDIES IN NEHEMIAH
COURSE BACKGROUND
Born in the heart of Dr. Cottle in the 1990's, this course is one of his personal favorites. He liked it so much, he wrote a book on it in 1997. Originally filmed in the 1990's, Dr. Cottle remade the video course in 2012, as shown here, while teaching it at Beacon University in Columbus, Georgia.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course, Dr. Cottle takes his students on a concentrated study of portions of Nehemiah, especially the first four chapters, with a view to understand:

○ Spiritual principles of restoration found in the book of Nehemiah
○ Principles of church order and ministry discovered in Nehemiah
○ How to apply these abiding principles to our lives today
○ Valuable insights from the original biblical languages and historical context
The benefits of this study include: an increased awareness of the historical and political world of Nehemiah; an increased appreciation of the value of Nehemiah to the biblical narrative; an increased understanding of how God calls, equips and enables a person to do His will; an increased knowledge of the biblical order of the church today.
