This is a vintage Cottle course from the early days of his studio work. Romans 1 represents his best theological work. Filmed in 1992 in the original studios of the Christian Life School of Theology. The video is dated, but the teaching is timeless.
COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Book of Romans has been called "the greatest written work in existence." It is the gospel according to Paul. In this course, Dr. Cottle takes you on an expositional journey into the compelling truths of Paul's teachings to the Roman believers. You will discover hidden truths and fresh insight into some of the most crucial Pauline teachings in the New Testament.
Of all of Paul's letters, Romans comes nearest to being a theological treatise. This course focuses on chapters 1 through 3 of Romans. You will learn that God's wrath is overcome by God's righteousness through the mercy seat of Christ's cross. Students completing this course will:

○ Understand the nature of the wrath of God and His righteousness
○ Understand the positions of relationship with God through Jesus Christ

Your Instructor
Dr. Ronald E. Cottle is the Founder and President Emeritus of Christian Life School of Theology (CLST Global), the Founder and President of Beacon College in Columbus, Georgia, the Founder and President of Cottle College and a former President of the Assemblies of God Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He received a diploma in Theology from Southeastern Bible Institute, Lakeland, Florida, a B.A. in English-Religion, Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, the M-Div. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Columbia, South Carolina, and both the Ph.D. in Religion and the M.S.Ed. and Ed.D. in Higher Education from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Cottle and his wife of sixty-plus years, Joanne reside in Columbus, Georgia and have one son, Ron Jr.
