COURSE DESCRIPTION
In this course, Dr. Cottle explores and develops the ageless principles of power for Christian living in the messages of the risen Lord to the seven churches of Revelation. In his unique style of teaching, Dr. Cottle does a verse-by-verse, church-by-church study of the seven messages of the Risen Christ to the churches of Asia in Revelation, Chapters 2 and 3. Emphasis is placed upon the unique message of Christ to each church. Application of the principles for life today is stressed. Upon completion of this course, you will:
○ Understand and appreciate these letters and their message from Jesus
○ Examine the letters in their historical and theological context
○ Probe the permanent principles in each of these remarkable letters
○ Apply these principles to your life and explore ways to use them daily
○ Continue higher level studies of the Book of Revelation and the Bible as a whole
○ Understand the circumstances facing the Church at the time Revelation was written
○ Meet the Risen Christ in the opening chapters of this important prophetic message
○ Know the encouragement of being in alignment with the King in His Kingdom

Your Instructor
Dr. Ronald E. Cottle is the Founder and President Emeritus of Christian Life School of Theology (CLST Global), the Founder and President of Beacon College in Columbus, Georgia, the Founder and President of Cottle College and a former President of the Assemblies of God Seminary in Springfield, Missouri. He received a diploma in Theology from Southeastern Bible Institute, Lakeland, Florida, a B.A. in English-Religion, Florida Southern College in Lakeland, Florida, the M-Div. from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary, Columbia, South Carolina, and both the Ph.D. in Religion and the M.S.Ed. and Ed.D. in Higher Education from the University of Southern California, Los Angeles. Dr. Cottle and his wife of sixty-plus years, Joanne reside in Columbus, Georgia and have one son, Ron Jr.
